ORIGINAL READING / Professional publication
THE BEAUTY SERVICE BOOK / BAIPrepare an accurate professional listing
Make the public description accurate, the contact route appropriate and the permissions understandable.

READ THE WORK.
KEEP THE CONTEXT.
ASK DIRECTLY.
The starting point
Use the actual public professional name, role, city and a portfolio link you control or are authorised to publish. Describe the service clearly without unverified qualifications or results.
What needs confirmation
A private preview helps review the text before sending a submission enquiry. Publication still requires operator review, consent and actual listing-service integration; nothing is automatically listed here.
Describe the actual professional role
Use the public professional name and the role you are authorised to represent. Distinguish an individual’s contribution from the services of a studio or a wider team. A city label should describe a real public working context; it should not silently imply a fixed address or travel availability. Keep statements limited to what can be supported and approved for the intended publication.
Choose a public contact route
A public portfolio or website and a private administrative email serve different purposes. The operator may need the private address to discuss a proposal, but that does not authorise publishing it as a client contact. State what is intended for public display and who controls the linked page. This proposal tool prepares a discussion; it does not maintain a public listing database.
Make permissions specific
Confirm permission for the particular words, links and work proposed for publication. Credit collaborators and avoid including client images or identifying details without the necessary authority. A general claim that something is online does not explain who can publish it elsewhere. Keep permissions, authorship and any service claims reviewable so the responsible operator can decide what needs further clarification.
Allow correction and withdrawal
A responsible listing process needs ways to review updates, correct an inaccurate detail and handle withdrawal requests. Those arrangements belong with the actual operator before live publication. Preparing a proposal does not approve a profile or verify a professional. Keep a copy only if you need it, and use the appropriate contact route to discuss the real publication responsibilities and review process. Describe any requested correction clearly and keep the original public context available for an accountable operator discussion.
